Shoes are the part of your personality that matters more then you think. If your dress is like a book to your personality
then Ill say shoes are the title of yourself. If you are wearing a fabulous designers dress along with matching jewelry and wearing a charming make-up including most suited hairstyle
but there is a still a possibility you may not look like a bombshell.

You might be thinking what got wrong? Yes
of course the shoes what else? If your shoes don’t match the mood of your dress
then there is no way that you can create an overall stunning look. On the other hand if you are wearing a good suit (not your one of your best collection)
but wearing a nice matching shoe you can give a very elegant look. Shoes are necessary for giving a final touch to a suit. Shoe choice also reflects your sense of style. There are so many shoes styles that now it has become hard to like just one when you go for shoes shopping. At least when I go for buying a shoe
I always end-up buying at least 2-3 pair of shoes.

Besides styles there are lot kinds of footwear available in the market that even make it tougher for you to buying only one pair. On every different event or activity you can wear shoes according to your need. Most commonly used shoes are casual shoes then you have athletic shoes

and casual for all. Now it also depends on your choice
sometimes you can get a beautiful fancy sandal that may not be comfortable as well
normally high heel pretty gorgeous shoes are not very comfortable but they are worth wearing. And as you know everything has its price. Some people like fancy shoes only and others may only go for casual regardless of any event.

Casual shoes are best and most comfortable to your feet. Doesn’t matter what kind of foot pain you could be suffering from -corns
flat feet
fallen arches

A proper fit shoes should be the only choice if the shoes fits you properly only then you can see further features in it otherwise don’t buy that shoe doesn’t matter how much you long to do that? When you wear a shoe in a shop
try it and walk in the shop to confirm the right size. Too narrow or too big shoes can only cause pain and discomfort for your foot. The next thing you’ll be considering is your life style
Are you a working lady always on the go or a domestic woman? What sort of activities you perform everyday? As if you are a working woman don’t think of high heel
get nice
elegant comfortable formal wear for you
and also try to go for common colors that can go for a lot of dresses like black
brown or gray. And on the other hand if you remain home and take care of your family then you need casual wear and you can also go for fancy when you go out partying once in a while.

The climate of your dwelling area is extremely important for buying shoes. If you live in a colder region then despite of any kind and style try to buy close warm shoes that you can wear most of the times. And on a warm climate enjoy sandals and open pretty shoes wear. Besides these basic questions there can other needs too that call for other things to look for while purchasing shoes like if you need added support for that you can choose high - topped leather or canvas upper shoe. I’ll say prefer to avoid buying cheap shoes from sales or stall
as neither do they last long nor provide comfort. Try to wear a proper thick sock when you intend to particularly buy a new shoe. These are the tips you can use in buying men and kids shoes too. Regardless of all these tips I am sure you can judge by just merely looking at a shoe whether its worth buying or not. And I am sure this verdict is seldom wrong. Maybe you’ll be thinking why to fuss so much for buying a plain piece of shoes
well Ill say these little minute details add in your personality. And I am sure you’ll not compromise on your personality.

The stars of "Sex and the City" made the world safe for shoe lovers everywhere with their unapologetic obsession with famous footwear designers like Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik. So if you follow in their footsteps
foot-care experts say you should make sure to get your feet measured before buying your next pair.

A survey conducted by the American Podiatric Medical Association found that 66 percent of Americans do not have their feet measured when purchasing new shoes. In fact
34
percent said they have not had their feet measured in more than five years
and 6 percent admitted they last had their feet measured more than 30 years ago.

Every day
we put a tremendous amount of pressure on our feet
with an average day of walking bringing a force equal to several hundred tons upon them. Additionally
our feet are open to more injury than any other part of the body.

Even if your feet are not giving you any trouble now
you should still consider comfort and fit when purchasing shoes. Here are some shoe-shopping tips from APMA.

* Shop in the afternoon because your feet tend to swell during the day and it's best to find the right fit for them then.

* Have your feet measured while standing up.

* Don't succumb to the myth that shoes need to be "broken in." They should feel comfortable and be easy to walk in immediately.

* Always try on both shoes and walk around the store.

* Be sure the shoes fit well in the front
back and sides. Buy shoes that don't pinch your toes.

* Because manufacturers' sizes vary
don't rely on the size of your last pair of shoes.

* Try on shoes with the same type of sock or stocking you plan to wear with the shoes.

It's equally as important for children to have their feet measured as it is for adults. It may be necessary to change shoe and sock sizes every few months to allow room for your child's feet to grow. Never "hand down" footwear from one child to the next.

The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo
vice chairman
and Joseph A. Aquino
managing director of Garrick-Aug Worldwide
Ltd.
exclusively represented the landlord in leasing 91 Greene St. to an obscure
yet ultra hip urban retailer A Bathing Ape. The Soho location will serve as the U.S. flagship for the street wear retailer
also known as BAPE (pronounced baypee)
and will include a cafe.

The 10-year lease is for 3
36
s/f
including two levels and mezzanine space. Apparel retailer Tehen previously occupied the site.

According to Ms. Consolo
BAPE's retail concept is perfectly suited for this hyper-trendy Soho neighborhood. The company, whose name is a clever riff that pokes fun at complacency among Japanese youths, was launched 11 years ago by designer, producer, musician and disc jockey Nigo, a self-professed 'Planet of the Apes' fanatic. His designs incorporate simian imagery, hip-hop culture and camouflage motifs and are deliberately sold in limited quantities to preserve exclusivity. BAPE clothing and accessories have reached feverish popularity among the young and hip. Customers in Japan have even been known to wait in line just to get into the store to shop! This New York flagship will allow the retailer, which already has stores in Japan, Hong Kong and London, to expand its brand within the U.S.

The lifestyle retail boutique
which will feature an array of apparel and accessories
is slated to open this summer.

"This incredible signature location features a modern
all-glass facade and nearly 20 feet of street frontage
said Mr. Aquino.

However
the area's non-stop pedestrian traffic and proximity to some of the most well known retailers in the world are what truly makes 91 Greene St. a standout retail address."

Situated on the same block as Louis Vuitton
Armani Casa
Anne Fontaine and La Perla
91
Greene St. is also located near other marquis retailers
including Salvatore Ferragamo
Helmut Lang and Apple Computer.

Christopher Owles
managing director of Sinvin Realty
represented the tenant in the transaction.

What is it with sexy shoes? Why are they so popular today and why have they been popular for so long? Sexy shoes have a special place in the heart and soul of many people across the globe
but why?

To start with
a pair of high heels can instantly elongate the lines of the legs that can make the legs appear slimmer and create more elegant curves from the hip to the toe. I’ve also read that wearing high heel shoes can make the foot appear smaller than it actually is.

Additionally
high heel shoes alter the stance of the woman and this forces her breasts up and makes her derriere protrude farther out than normal. The correct pair of shoes can even help create an air of confidence due to the fact that they make the woman taller than normal and tend to attract more attention to her.

Sexy shoes aren’t just popular with women
but with men and cross dressers as well. Sexy shoes are known to be a fetish item in their own right. Sexy shoes are collectible and can be considered works of art without even having a foot to fill them. People all over the world collect exotic high heel shoes.

Although they may not be the most practical clothing item in the world
it really doesn’t come down to practicality. Sexy shoes are popular for reasons not related to their comfort or practicality. If you still don’t get it
then you probably never will.

Now
aren’t you ready for your next pair of sexy shoes?

Before the shoes…were sandals. But in some regions
the shoes were first devised rather than the more comfortable and light sandals. Throughout the world
there are artifacts and strong evidences that sandals had been existing since human first inhabited earth. These evidences were not only found in the relics but may also be sighted in the similarities of terminology to connote something that is worn for feet covering. Take for example the Latin word sandalium
or the French sandale and even the Arabic andal. All these seem to be linked by a common idea of a sandal.

The variety of sandal types today attests to man’s mastery over sandal making and the use he has found in the item. In the following sections of this article
we will discuss some of the most popular sandal types in the world. Most of the types mentioned here will only be discussed in brief since we will try to focus on the types of sandals traditional to Japanese culture alone.

espadrille - is a type of sandal characterized by the rope sole or rubber sole with a cloth covering for its upper section.

flip-flop - is Japanese in origin and is characterized by being backless. This sandal is held on the foot by means of a thong between the second toe and the big toe.

Gladiator- named after the sandals worn by gladiators of the Roman arenas
straps that are fastened to the flat sole to hold the foot in place characterizes this sandal.

huarache or huaraches - is a Mexican sandal with flat heels and woven leather thongs for straps.

scuffer - is usually worn as playshoes among children and as sportshoe among adults. Scuffers are frequently made out of lightweight materials and are characterized for their sturdy sole.

shoe - is a footwear that is patterned to fit the foot. Usually
the upper is made of leather
plastic or rubber and the sole is made out of much heavier and sturdier material.

talaria - is frequently mentioned in most Roman myths. This is a winged sandal worn by Hermes
a Roman god.

Zori or pusher - originally a Japanese
this is a sandal made of rubber sole and two straps that are held on either side which meets at the upper part between the big toe and the second finger.

Among these general types of sandals
the most popular types are the zori
the huarache and the gladiator.

Japanese sandals

The three of the basic Japanese sandals are the geta
tatami and the zori. Geta sandals are more commonly known among Americans due to the popularity of Geisha women images. There are varieties of geta sandals but two of the best-known are the vinyl and the wooden. The latter is worn during ordinary days while the vinyl geta is worn on occasion. Geta is named as such because of the sound (click clack) they produce when being walked.

The tatami sandals on the other hand are included in the casual category. These are typically worn for normal days and daily wear. The term tatami was derived from the Japanese word for straw. The tatami sandals are crafted from tatami
the same material used in making the mat flooring for traditional Japanese houses. Traditionally
the thong either comes in black or red velvet.

For formal occasions
zori sandals are worn. Along with these sandals come tabi socks that are split between the large toe and the second toe.
